DuckCard Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your DuckCard account and associated workspace data at any time.

How to request deletion

You can submit a request from the web without installing or signing in to DuckCard. Email updates@duckcard.app with the subject "DuckCard account deletion request". Include the Google or Apple email address connected to your DuckCard workspace and say whether you want the full account or only specific data deleted. Never send a password, one-time code, identity document, or payment information.

If you are already signed in, you can instead submit the request in DuckCard:

  1. Sign in to DuckCard with the Google or Apple account connected to the workspace you want deleted.
  2. Open Feedback from the app header.
  3. Choose "Privacy / Security Concern".
  4. Write "DuckCard account deletion request" and confirm that you want your account and workspace data deleted.

What will be deleted

  • Your DuckCard user profile and workspace settings.
  • Your contact-exchange profile, active sharing link, exact-ID directory entry, active account blocks, and server-managed exchange receipts associated with your account.
  • Saved business card scans, uploaded images, extracted contact records, notes, tags, and event context.
  • AI-generated follow-up drafts, relationship notes, and automation preferences tied to your account.

Before deleting your account

You may revoke an active contact-sharing link from DuckCard immediately. Revocation stops future NFC, QR, and link exchanges, but it cannot remotely delete a contact that another user previously accepted into their own workspace. That recipient controls their saved copy and may delete it from their contact list.

Delete selected data without deleting your account

  • To delete one saved contact record, open Contacts, select the contact, choose Edit, and select "Delete this card".
  • To stop future NFC, QR, or link exchanges, open your contact profile and revoke the active sharing link.
  • To stop future exact-ID discovery, open your contact profile and turn off DuckCard ID discovery.
  • For another specific-data request, use the email link above or open Feedback, choose "Privacy / Security Concern", identify the data category, and state that you want only that data deleted.

Deleting or revoking data from your workspace does not remove a contact copy that another user previously accepted into their own workspace. Verified specific-data requests are normally completed within 30 days, subject to the limited retention reasons described below.

What may be retained

Some profile reports, security, abuse-prevention, transaction, diagnostic, backup, or legal records may be retained only when required for legitimate operational, legal, or compliance reasons. These records are not used to maintain your active DuckCard workspace after deletion is completed.

Processing time

DuckCard aims to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law, security review, backup processing, or account verification.

你不需要安裝或登入 DuckCard，也可以直接從網頁提出要求。請以「DuckCard 帳戶刪除要求」為主旨，寄信至 updates@duckcard.app。 請提供與 DuckCard 工作區連結的 Google 或 Apple 電子郵件地址，並說明要刪除完整帳戶或特定資料。 請勿提供密碼、一次性驗證碼、身分證件或付款資訊。

如果你已登入，也可以直接在 DuckCard 內提出要求：

  1. 使用與欲刪除工作區連結的 Google 或 Apple 帳戶登入 DuckCard。
  2. 從應用程式頂端開啟「回饋」。
  3. 選擇「隱私／安全疑慮」。
  4. 輸入「DuckCard 帳戶刪除要求」，並確認你希望刪除帳戶與工作區資料。

將會刪除的內容

  • 你的 DuckCard 使用者輪廓與工作區設定。
  • 你的聯絡交換輪廓、有效分享連結、精確 ID 目錄項目、有效帳戶封鎖，以及與帳戶相關、由伺服器管理的交換紀錄。
  • 已儲存的名片掃描、上傳圖片、擷取的聯絡人紀錄、備註、標籤與活動脈絡。
  • 與帳戶連結的 AI 跟進草稿、人脈備註與自動化偏好。

刪除帳戶前

你可以立即從 DuckCard 撤銷有效的聯絡分享連結。撤銷會停止日後的 NFC、QR Code 與連結交換， 但無法遠端刪除其他使用者先前已接受並儲存在其工作區中的聯絡人。該接收者可自行刪除其儲存的副本。

只刪除特定資料，不刪除帳戶

  • 若要刪除一筆已儲存的聯絡人，請開啟「聯絡人」、選擇該聯絡人、點選「編輯」，再選擇「刪除這張名片」。
  • 若要停止日後的 NFC、QR Code 或連結交換，請開啟聯絡輪廓並撤銷有效分享連結。
  • 若要停止日後透過精確 ID 被搜尋，請開啟聯絡輪廓並關閉 DuckCard ID 搜尋。
  • 若要提出其他特定資料要求，請使用上方電子郵件連結，或開啟「回饋」、選擇「隱私／安全疑慮」、指出資料類別，並說明你只希望刪除該資料。

從你的工作區刪除或撤銷資料，不會移除其他使用者先前已接受到其工作區的聯絡人副本。 經驗證的特定資料要求通常會在 30 天內完成，但仍受下方有限保留原因約束。

可能保留的內容

某些輪廓檢舉、安全、防濫用、交易、診斷、備份或法律紀錄，只有在合法營運、法律或合規目的確有需要時才可能保留。 刪除完成後，這些紀錄不會用於維持你的有效 DuckCard 工作區。

處理時間

DuckCard 以在 30 天內完成經驗證的刪除要求為目標；若法律、安全審查、備份處理或帳戶驗證需要較長時間，則不在此限。
